with the sunlight playing the leaves, the summer forest, shows a dazzling array of colours and shapes. A place for meditation, peace and a calm descends on us amongst the trees.
On canvas I have first covered the canvas with shapes and forms in all colors, I then draw the trees and start applying white to the surrounds of the trees. The white goes on in several layers, going from bluish white to gold white to white white. I pick out shapes in the trees in different colors and add the grass and flowers.
Last I UV varnish the painting to protect against dust and light.
The canvas measures in image 42,5" x 26" (108 cm x 66 cm) and comes with an additional 2" (4 cm) all round for stretching or framing.
