As the evenings now draw in, the blue hour arrives earlier and earlier, with beautiful shades of dusk.
On a piece of heavyweight paper, 300 g, I have first added torn paper to make my shapes, and to add depth to the colours I apply on top in acrylic, many thin layers are added until I have the exact shade I want. I then add colored pencil on top of the acrylic to make movement and light in the image. I have UV varnished the entire piece.
I have left a border of black for you to frame, and it does fit into a standard frame.
Le Chien Bleu measures 20" x 27" (50 cm x 70 cm ) and comes signed n the front. I have also added the title and year to the back of the painting.Thank you for looking, welcome back and remember, I do take commissions! Mariann
