About
My name is Mariann Johansen-Ellis. Printmaking is my binoculars on the world around me, through the one lens linocuts with their strong graphic lines and through the other, etchings with aquatint, with their soft colours and possibility of endless details. The two make for a complete vista for me.
I do of course also paint, my paintings follow my prints quite closely in expression and I hope you will enjoy them.
